Updating old oak cabinets

I prefer to do 2 light coats, letting them dry in between. After they are good and dry, I took the sander to the edges. Decorating a home doesn't have to cost a fortune and I've spent years thrifting at antiques markets and yard sales, finding those treasures that make a home unique.

You want to distress in the areas that would most likely wear with age, like the rails, top and edge of the legs. The chairs are back in place and I’m happy with them. I'm here to inspire and encourage other women to find their own inner creativity.

I never found the exact source but an almost perfect match for one of the choices below… This is a much better choice and warms up this kitchen more than yellow ever would.
